Hi everyone, I'm Fazio, the lead on this project. I am a senior software architect and blockchain advocate. Currently I working on various decentralized services and web3 projects by providing solutions to improve the massive social adoption of blockchain technologies by making it more accessible.

I'm very happy to be able to work on this project with help of web3 community and I'm looking forward to see this project grow and help the community to build amazing library to use in their upcoming web3 and IPFS projects.

What is this project about?

This project is about creating a library of customizable web components that can be used in any web3 project to improve the user experience and make IPFS protocol more accessible to the community.

What is the goal of this project?

The goal of this project is to create library of web components that provide IPFS solutions that can be used with any frontend framework or vanilla javascript to improve the developper experience and make it more simple to build web3 projects.

This library provide Web Components that interact with IPFS and can easely be integrated with any frontend frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, Svelte, etc... by importing the web component in your project and adding it to your HTML page. Done!

This is currenty the only one library that provide web components for web3 projects with a simple and easy to use platform agnostic API.

What is the current status of this project?

This project is currently in development and we are looking for contributors to help us to build this library.

You can contribute by helping us to build this library by adding new fonctionalities or improving the existing ones.

You can also contribute by helping us to improve the documentation, examples, publish new blog articles, providing feedback, reporting bugs, etc..

What is the roadmap of this project?

The roadmap of this project is to add new web components to the library and improve the existing ones.

Q4 2022

  • Create the project repository and setup the project structure
  • Create the project documentation
  • Create the project blog
  • Publish the first stable realeas version v.1.0.0-rc.0 of the library on NPM

Q1 2023

  • Publish the official release v.1.0.0 of the library on NPM and IPFS
  • Improve the documentation, including examples and tutorials
  • Publish new blog articles
  • Add new fonctionalities to the library

The roadmap is subject to change and will be updated regularly.

The current version of this project is 0.0.1-alpha.0 and it is currently in development.
